Once the recruitment and selection processes are completed and a new employee has been appointed the process of formal induction begins.
It should be noted, however, that in reality a more informal induction process has commenced as soon as the employee applied for a position within the organisation. From the job advertisement to the selection process, a new employee has already started to get a sense of the organisation, its professionalism and its culture.
